CHERYL COLE NABS ANOTHER HOT AMERICAN PRODUCER, CAN SHE BREAK THE US?

Speaking of Britain’s most popular girl group…look who else is making headlines! Nadine‘s bandmate Cheryl Cole was just snapped heading out of an LA studio with one of the hottest producers in American right now, Alex Da Kid. While Cheryl had a chance to really hit the American public with her guest spot on USA X Factor (which she ended up unfairly losing to Nicole Scherzinger), it looks she is going to try her best to hit the American consciousness with her music.

Nabbing huge producers in America like Alex Da Kid is just the way that Cheryl can (easily) make her way to the ears of American listeners. According to The UK’s Metro Kid, who has worked with Rihanna, Eminem, Diddy – Dirty Money, Dr. Dre, Christina Aguilera, and Nicki Minaj, is added to already impressive line up of producers including RedOne (Lady GaGa, Enrique Iglesias), David Guetta (Kelly Rowland, Black Eyed Peas), and will.i.am, who worked with Cheryl on her two #1 UK albums. 

But while her bandmates Nadine and Nicola Roberts are going more left-field and using different producers from different genres with their efforts, it seems like Cheryl is focusing on appealing to the American masses. While her first two albums were only released in Europe, there was a possibility for success in the States with the sounds she was using which included electronic pop productions and features from famous American rappers. So why not?

Regardless of the reason, it looks like Cheryl is not playing around and she wants to prove something with this album. There are also persistent rumors of huge collaboration possibilities including whispers of everyone from Justin Bieber, Christina Aguilera, Usher, and Rihanna according to The UK’s Mirror.

So while she may have been publicly embarrassed by filming literally two episodes of USA X Factor before getting the boot, Cheryl may be out to show Simon Cowell & The X Factor crew that she truly has THAT “X Factor.” And judging by her production line-up, she may just end up proving herself and making American audiences wonder why she was kicked off in the first place.
