PARIS HILTON SAYS NEW ALBUM COMING “IN THE NEXT FEW MONTHS”

Yippee! While Paris Hilton was carousing around Grammy parties (most likely deeply analyzing the musical structures of this year’s nominees and discussing the future of the industry with critics and top music business professionals) she gave some information about her upcoming sophomore album.

When will the heiress be gracing our ears giving us new music? Is it worth your time? Find out below.

While at a pre-Grammy hosted by the future winner Usher, Paris deemed it only appropriate to speak about her upcoming music due to the very likely chance of her sweeping the awards show next year saying her sophomore album will come out “in the next few months.”

This will most likely coincide with her new Oxygen (ouch she couldn’t get Fox like The Simple Life or even MTV for My New BFF?) reality show that follows her actual life. Although I  have been weary of how helpful reality shows are for translating for album sales…

Regardless, Paris was staying mum on many details saying she wanted to keep the producers & details a secret…which either means she’s got some really big and hot people working on the album and it really will be a surprise. Or she has a bunch of nobodies and doesn’t want to dampen the hype.

Say what you want about Paris Hilton, but she actually made some really interesting music from her first album. Some of was crap, yes, but some of it was really great! Her debut raggae-inspired “Stars Are Blind” and one of my favorite calm down ballads “Heartbeat” (posted below) are all gems, and I have a feeling she can come with some more on the next album. You got to take the music for what it is…and for what it is, quite great! *starts listening to Paris on repeat*
