In what may be just be yet another drunken outburst that we can add to Kanye West’s running tally, the rapper has announced that the joint album he and Jay-Z created together tentatively titled “Watch The Throne” will be released in the next week.

While the project has been confirmed by both parties, there has never been any indication of when or how the project will be released. But 2010 proved to be a year of atypical music releases from everything to Kanye’s G.O.O.D. Fridays (which then led to other producers like Swizz Beatz, Timbaland, and RZA all following suit with their own weekly day of releasing a free download) to artists like Patrick Stump giving away different versions of a song to find out what sounds fans liked best, maybe we’re in for yet something else new. There’s no way to build the ample promotion in just a week, so if Kanye’s true to his word (and judging by the video I wouldn’t exactly hold my breath) we very possibly may see a completely different type of album release. Check out what Jay and Kanye had to say HERE.
