WILLOW SMITH NAILS “WHIP MY HAIR” PERFORMANCE ON DICK CLARK

Little Willow Smith was allowed to stay up past her bedtime by peforming on Dick Clark’s Rockin New Year with a performance of a remixed version one of 2010’s defining songs “Whip My Hair.” Willow, who at 10-years old becomes the youngest performer ever on Dick Clark, proved again to outshine seasoned artists by not only nailing the complicated correography but also adding embellished ad-libs and harmonizing on different sections of the music instead of singing the song as is. Willow might have sounded a little tired on a few of the verses, but that can be attributed to her most likely never staying up this late. But when it came time to “whip her hair” she nailed it!

Willow is continuing to prove herself over and over, but this performance is one again eye raising when you wonder what a 10-year old is doing performing at a New Year’s Eve special. Unless the performance was prerecorded, this is once again a display of how much Willow is taking on. She recently announced she’ll be touring with Justin Bieber. Is it all too much? She seems to be fine now.

Take a look at the performance below, write what you think, but do you think Willow is taking on too much?
